Has anyone had a knee replacement operation recently?

just that - what was it like? How long for recovery? Did you have any complications. What meds were you on? Can you give any tips

I had one last week and am recovering at home with DH supporting me
It’s very bruised and very swollen
I’m managing on crutches and a zimmer.
I can’t always find a comfortable sitting position

I'm 3 weeks in and am walking without an aid round the house. My knee is still swollen but I am hardly taking any painkillers. It does hurt to stand for any length of time though.
