Nose cautery not worked?!

I’ve had recurrent nosebleeds for over a decade. I had my nose cauterized 4 weeks ago and I’m still getting nosebleeds. Not got my follow up for another 4 weeks. Has anybody else had their nose cauterized and it not worked? Thanks in advance

DS2 had a large blood vessel cauterised on one side and the consultant warned there was a chance that the other side would start to bleed. It did. So his nose bleeds moved from predominantly one nostril to the other. A second cauterisation did the trick.
