Image below, my son cut his foot last week and now it’s looking like this. Iv got an appointment this afternoon but does it look like it’s infected?

Yeah it does to me too. It also looks like something is stuck under the skin of the cut? Maybe it's just the photo.

Yes. Draw a line around the redness so you can see if it gets worse.

I'd say definitely infected and tracking. How did you get on at the doctors? If they've given you anti bios and cleaned it up, I'd also suggest taking pics / drawing a line around it again to keep an eye as it sometimes happens [in my experience which I don't recommend] that you need more than one course of antibiotics or a different type to clear it completely. You'll need to keep a close eye for about a month to make sure it clears completely. Sepsis is not something to risk.
