Hi,

came down last night with a splitting headache feeling cold and this morning I am sweating now, lost appetite to eat and diabetic finger pick up this morning, had sore throat yesterday but that seems to have jogged on (yay) Relative has potential scarlet fever but I can’t see any rash on my chest.

I was meant to be going out tomorrow, would this still be ok?

If you are ill you shouldn’t go. SF is highly contagious, caused by same bacteria as strep throat so it is possible to develop that rather than SF itself.

My son had had scarlet fever four times! You aren’t contagious 24hours after antibiotics.

Thank you so much, this took a right turn, currently waiting to be admitted for suspect blood clot.
