Orthostatic Tremor

I’ve had a tremor in my right leg when standing for the last couple of months. Today I’ve seen the neurologist who has diagnosed it as an Orthostatic Tremor (OT). Didn’t give me much more information, no further testing.

I’ve come home and googled (I know) and while it fits the profile of only happening while standing most of the info says OT is in both legs and also that the tremor is at such a high frequency that it can’t be seen visually. Mine is only one leg and very easy to see.

does anyone have any experience of OT?

Deleted as I wrote a post then googled my symptoms and realised my symptoms are irrelevant to OT diagnosis. Hope you get some useful advice.

Thanks for replying anyway, seems like it’s quite a rare tremor, might just have to wait for my follow up in a couple of months to ask more questions.
