side affect from Singulair in baby?

DS2 (8 months) has had bronchiolitis twice - first time warranted nearly a week in hospital. Doctor here (in Spain) has prescribed a sachet of Singulair granules each day. He has been taking these for about a month now. In the last few days, after a bout of roseola, he has developed some kind of pain which seems to come in waves and really upsets him. One minute he is cooing and the next, yowling the place down. He's only interested in eating yoghurt, not his usual favourites and his really keen on water. I would usually say it was teething but it feels different. Looking at the possible side affects from Singulair I am wondering if it could be some stomach pain?

My dd takes Singulair every day (had pnuemonia 3x when aged 2 and is suspected asthmatic) - but she did not start until 2.5 yrs. Cannot say we have noticed any side effects - but she has not had a bout of pnuemonia since she started on it.

Would say go back to the doctor if you are worried that it is disagreeing with him - any changes to his bowel movements?

well there are far fewer of them as he is eating much less. Has had a touch of constipation too...
