I've only been on desogestrel for a week and I can't sleep properly. I fall asleep ok ish, slightly harder to do so but the main issue is staying asleep. I'm tossing and turning all night and only sleeping lightly. I really struggle with lack of sleep (possible fibromyalgia) and I'm now aching and knackered. Is this common with the mini pill? Would getting some hrt oestrogen help? I can't take the combo pill as I'm 40 and have migraines. I'm potentially perimenopausal as well but had been putting off seeing the gp about it. Has anyone else had this issue and have the hrt oestrogen fix it?
