Do I go back to the doctors with this Tonsillitis?

I was prescribed antibiotics for tonsillitis 02/04. 3 days in I went back to the GP as I felt worse, not better and I was prescribed different antibiotics. They made me feel a lot better. I had no pain within about a day of taking them.

I finished the course last Friday morning and by Saturday I had a really sore throat again along with the white spots at the back of my throat.

I’ve tried salt water and Peroxyl gargles but it’s not budging.

Do I need to go back to the GP or is this a never ending viral infection?

Yes you need to get more antibiotics

Yes you need another antibiotic, preferably a 10 day course.

I went. Wasn’t offered any other medication but they took a swab to see if it’s bacterial or viral.

Even between this afternoon to now, my throat is so much worse 😩
