Hi all
I'm in a bit of a panic.
I had a CT scan recently and have just been told that a nodule on my lung was found. They want to repeat my scan in 12 months. The thing that's stressing me is that my dad died of lung cancer this last year and being honest, in the perfect world I'd want a scan sooner. But is there any point? Guidelines seem to say it's standard to wait 12 months :/
Is it worth asking my consultant? Or is this grief talking?
Does anyone have any experience of a nodule being found, positive or negative?
Thanks!
