DH - polyp too large to remove

I know there's no point worrying until the biopsy result is back, but I can't help it!

DH had a colonoscopy today following diverticulitis. They found and removed a few polyps. One of them was too large and inflamed to remove, so they've biopsied it.

I assume that means he'll need a further procedure to remove this another way?

And please tell me there are many inflamed and large polyps which are non-cancerous.

He has no cancer symptoms, but has lost at least one relative to BC. He's also been overweight his whole life which I know is a risk factor.

Same thing here. I have diverticular disease. Had bleeding, first colonoscopy got most of the polyps but two large ones were left for another go at it! Second one got them all, biopsied and all clear.
