Trainers

I need to buy some new trainers as my current ones make my feet hurt. I want to be able to walk a few miles without pain. I also want them to look okay with jeans. And I don't want to spend a fortune. Although I have realised that £15 trainers probably aren't a good buy. Any recommendations?

Merrell (who do walking shoes and boots) also do some nice looking trainer/shoes for normal wear. I have dodgy feet and knees and love these. Not cheap but last ages. I also wear their proper walking trainers a lot as well and they don't look too bad although are quite chunky, so it depends what you like!

If you try some on in the shops so you know your size and if you like them there are often bargains to be had on ebay for new stock that is in last years styles

Thanks. I've never heard of Merrell, but just Googled and we've got a stockist nearby, so I'll have a look. From the website the styles look nice. Thanks for the ebay tip too!
