I've just had my blood results, I am pre diabetic. I can't see the Doctor for a couple of weeks. I'm looking for any advice on my diet, I already fast for at least 16 hours, my BMI is within normal range, i dont think I eat excessively , one meal a day, snacks are homemade granola, Greek yoghurt, pistachio nuts and fruit,
What can I do here, if I cut back any more its going to be a miserable existence!

Have you been eating this way for a while?

The advice when it comes to diet for diabetes is high protein and good fats, low refined carbs. Pairing carbs with proteins and fats and exercise after eating ie a brisk 20 min walk after your meal. If you’re already eating like this then the best idea is to wait till your appt and speak to them about it because diabetes is not always manageable through diet.
