Does hayfever make you feel like this?

I've never really had hayfever that bad but for the last couple of days Ive felt achy all over, my body feels heavy. I'm really tired and lethargic, my nose is permanently stuffy and dry, my throat feels swollen but not sore and my chest feels tight and my eyes feel dry and sore.

Does hayfever make you feel this crap?

It can yes. Have you taken an anti histamine?

m030978 · 06/04/2025 17:24

Yes. People think its just a bit of sneezing, but it can be whole-body and EXHAUSTING!!

Yes it can when the pollen count is very high. Antihistamines can also make you feel crap

I'm about to take one. I've spent all day feeling like this and hadn't put it down to hayfever! I thought i was coming down with something but don't feel ill as such.

It’s BRUTAL this year. I’ve had the worst headache for days now, nausea, catarrh, awful sinus pain and just generally feel crap. Taking daily antihistamines and nose spray and it isn’t touching the sides.

Mine can make me feel terrible at times. Is it particularly bad atm?I've had a runny nose for a couple of weeks and now my ears are all bunged up.

AmicaNemica · 06/04/2025 18:10

Yes this is me.

I have woken up with a sore throat down one side and my gland is swollen too. Think it is a cold starting, I was freezing all day yesterday and couldn't get warm.
