Anyone got this awful flu atm?

Wednesday evening I started with a temperature and shivering, so tired so went to bed. Woke up Thursday banging headache and sore throat, was taking paracetamol during the day to help with chills but was a struggle working.
Friday I’ve been bed bound today, headache, sore throat, cough, congestion, temperature, dizziness, so tired, ears hurt.. uh honestly this is horrendous..

how long will this last :( I’ve got my 3 year old coming home from his dads in the morning so I kinda need to be better but there’s nothing more I can do to help myself…

trip to doctor needed or will this pass? I’m technically on day 3 of fever

I’ve got it as well. Nothing the doctor can do for this. Just let it pass in time.

what have you found helped most with your symptoms? Struggling big time over here :(

Took me 4 weeks to get over what the horrendous virus was!! Horrible exhaustion, headaches a really bad cough, temperature the works.I didn’t leave the house for 2 weeks. Ended up with a sinus infection and due to congestion was completely deaf in one ear for two weeks aswell! Hope you feel better soon try and get as much rest as you can

so because my temperature was still there today, and generally no improvement and if anything temperature was coming back quicker even with paracetamol and ibuprofen.. and I then noticed white marks on the back of my throat and a bit of a coated tongue I went to the pharmacy who have prescribed me a 5 day course of antibiotics as thinking I have strep throat.. So will see how I get on 🤞🏻
