Hi Everyone,

I've had a niggling pain in my thigh for a few weeks, had a look and I had a few spider veins so thought these might be why. The last week or two it's gotten worse. I can feel one side of my lower back is sore and it goes into my hip and sometimes my bum a bit too.

I do also get bouts of anxiety sometimes - not as bad as before but it occasionally flares. I went googling this morning (always a terrible idea), came across thigh pain meaning leukemia, almost had a full blown anxiety attack. Now I do think that's been on the cards a few days - heart palpitations, shallow breathing when I'm thinking about it.

I ended up going to a walk in clinic, the doctor there was so nice and helpful. She said she thinks it could be an SI joint issue or a pinched nerve and is going to send me for an MRI. I've had pretty bad episodes of sciatica since my last baby.

Sorry for waffling 🙈 just wondering if anyone else had had pain like this and how long it took to go away?

I get SI issues exercises from a physio have helped and yes with the exercises it has gone away in a few weeks. I have had a few relapses but usually can work in retrospect what has caused it. Carrying heavy things up stairs is always a mistake for me!

Thanks! I had gone to a physio before and gotten it under control, I have an osteopath booked for tomorrow morning, hoping that will help. Also hoping that's all it is!
