Gallbladder surgery

What’s anyone experience or advice with gallstones im not really getting symptoms but they have said to have it out as will course symptoms later in life I have health anxiety am so worried about surgery

I had to have mine removed because I became jaundiced and it was potentially dangerous. Not having your gallbladder makes it more likely you will put on weight because you can no longer metabolise fat in the same way and I would definitely not have it removed just in case it caused me problems further down the line. Instead I would be looking at ways to improve the situation which I assume would be dietary and potentially supplements like Milk Thistle.
