Terrible pain

Over the course of this evening and this night I haave develop excruqciating pain in my right side, right into my breast and down the my waist. It's like I have a ball of fire inside.

I cannot get comfortable and cannot sleep.

I have taken 2 paracetomol, 60mg codeine and a 2mg diazepam. Normally, that would knock me for 6

Any ideas of what I can do? I need to ease the pain but not sure about taking more codeine (doc has prescribed 60mg for me before so I figured it must be OK to take that much anyway).

Please help! I'm in agony.

Ring 111 or see your doctor today. Could be gall stones, inflamed gall bladder, reflux, inflammation of your oesophagus or even but unlikely a small ulcer or gastritis. Do you have a temperature? Have you been sick? I think you do need to see a doctor as MN is good but can’t examine you and give you a diagnosis
