Purple LIPS!?!?

Since last summertime (ish), I’ve noticed that the corners of my lips turn dark purple, especially when I’m too hot, or if I’ve done some strenuous activity, maybe at other times too. It can stay dark purple for days and then fades, but it never completely goes away.
I thought maybe it was due to past lip filler, but I haven’t had any filler for over 2 years and what I did have has pretty much dissolved.

Has anyone else experienced this? It looks horrid

You better check if it's vascular occlusion, can you ask the person who did your filler about it?

Unless your filler was done by a dentist or plastic surgeon I’d suggest you speak to a qualified doctor.

You probably need to see your GP. Possibly a sign of poor oxygen flow. Cyanosis.Nothing to do with the fillers.

@littlemissprosseco Oh I haven’t heard of that. My friend suggested it could be due to me being anaemic so I’m going to get a GP appt tomorrow anyway I think. Thank you for your advise

See your doctor. My dad's lips were like this, and his skin was slightly grey, before he had a heart attack. Yours is probably something else, but not worth taking chances.
