Went back on mini pill after having baby and continued to bleed daily for 6 months. Doctors were saying to give it time etc as needs time to settle.
Doctor has now referred for ultrasound and also prescribed norethisterone on top for 10 days to try to get on top of the bleeding.
I have finished the course and have started bleeding again after one day. Would you expect this to happen because of the drop in progesterone? I have continued taking the pill as normal throughout the course. I thought the point the doctor prescribed the norethisterone was to stop the bleeding altogether.
I had the ultrasound last week and hoping to get results this week.
Not sure what to expect but worried that the bleeding has restarted. Never had this problem when been on this exact pill for years with breaks for pregnancies.
