Dentist fear!

Hello, i have just had a phonecall from the dentist near me offering me an nhs spot which I'm absolutely thrilled about after waiting 3 years for one, anyway she offered me an appointment tomorrow, I'm so terrified I could cry! If it was in a week or 2 I'd of been able to process it and build myself up but I feel sick.
I had a filling 10 years ago and I grind my teeth at night, this has broke my tooth that my fillings in and a quarter of it is missing, I also have decay in my wisdom tooth, the broken tooth is next to the wisdom tooth. I know I need work done and it's not just a check up.
Is he going to judge me? I brush daily and keep them clean but unfortunately I'm just one of the unlucky ones that's never had strong teeth.
I do think myself lucky for being able to get a nhs spot but I am so terrified I'm tempted to cancel it 😔

This time tomorrow you will have been. Don’t waste the appointment. You will be ok

It's only a look a conversation you wont be getting treated tomorrow and of course you will have issues after three years waiting

Buy some calms sip water (calms dry your mouth) take deep breaths

I had to be given valium to have treatment at the dentist they were very kind to me (especially when I walked the wrong way 😂)

You won't be having any treatment tomorrow, it'll be a check up then go back later to get whatever needs doing. Tomorrow evening you'll be chuffed with yourself for having got over that first hurdle and got a plan in place to get your teeth sorted.

How did you get on?

It was cancelled, I'm going private now, found a lovely dentist that'll hopefully understand my ridiculous fear
