Hi,
I had a mamo and ultrasound a year back while on holiday abroad just for screening purpose as they don't start until your 50 in UK. I was advised to repeat my ultrasound in 6 months due to a lesion in my ducts.
FF I went to GP in Feb for this and was seen by the consultant at the breast clinic on 5th March who arranged my ultrasound. This was done on 11th March and the radiologist did see the lesion and did a biopsy. 2 weeks today I get a call from the breast clinic to come in tomorrow for a repeat biopsy no reasons given.
I am very scared as they did the biopsy so why are they repeating it again. Any advice is appreciated

I've had a needle biopsy which didn't pick up enough cells, so I was called back to have it done again. Big needle jabbed in the same place two weeks running is no fun! The second one came back as not enough cells too. At which point the consultant decided that since no cancer cells had been found on either biopsy, I was OK.

@AudiobookListener thanks for your reply. Great to know you were all clear. Just waiting for my second biopsy tomorrow. In my case the caller didn't give any reasons but asked me to come. I will ask the radiologist for sure tomorrow. Currently I just can't function.
