DP seems to be getting th3m constantly over the last couple of months. So far, I haven't caught them but we are very careful when he has an outbreak.

They're miserable for him and inconvenient!

I know it's a virus you're stuck with, but I think there are ways to surpress/prevent outbreaks. What does he need to know before talking to GP? What's he asking for?

I get them, particularly if I’m really run down. They can make you feel pretty ill.

Get some Acyclovir tablets from the GP. I’m immunosuppressed so as soon as I get a tingle I get the tablets, usually put on 5 a day for a week.
