Ermmm, why can't I breathe? Little bit worrying!

Well obviously I'm breathing, because, love mumsnet as I do and as much as I value the advice, I'd probably ring 999 if I really, really couldn;t breathe! But still. . .
I'm struggling to breathe and when I do breathe it is very raspy sounding iykwim. Feel as if I have a huge weight on my chest, bit of a blocked nose, but not enough to hamper breathing and have felt quite 'flu-ey', for want of a better description, over the past couple of days.
So, do I Doctor bother or has anyone got any ideas to ease the breathing?
Any advice raspingly appreciated!

My goodness that arterial blood test hurts, doesn't it? IIRC, that is to test for a clot in your lungs which can cause breathing difficulties. If it makes you feel better, I ended up having loads of tests (including that one) done for chest pains which I think are actually nothing more than stress and panic attacks. Again, not so sure what I was meant to be so stressed about.

Hope you feel much better tomorrow.

Glad your okay!

And the ABG test from the wrist is to check the oxygen, CO2 and pH of the blood. Can be used in finding blood clots but not the sole test. I have them whenever I go in with my bronch... grrr.
