Boots iron test - is this normal?

I did one of the at home iron tests, and this was my result. I think I messed it up and used way too much blood, but I was panicking a bit (pricked my thumb by accident!)

The reviews for this test aren't great and users said the lancet makes you bleed too much and there is no dropper. I'm sure others will have done the same as you. Perhaps try a different brand?

Yeah blood got everywhere 😂 I will get another
