Started with a sore throat and now bad nausea horrible virus 😢

Has anyone else had this. I started with a sore throat and within a few days it went to my chest, I haven't had a bad cough as such but very sore throat, losing my voice and fatigue. A few days in I then feel like my face was itchy and burning, pressure behind eyes and ears, headache and awful nausea and funny tummy. No d and v and still eating but reduced appetite. I rested over the weekend, felt better but then losing voice again and feeling shit. My head and ears are pounding, horrible nausea but able to eat still. I feel awful after a few days at work, even though I was feeling better over the weekend but obviously I have to talk alot in work. I work with children and they have all had a temp, coughs and colds and d and v. Anyone else had this virus?

Yep I had something similar recently, extremely sore throat that progressed over a week to losing my voice completely - I could barely squeak. At the same time I had nausea and terrible indigestion which is really unusual for me - I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've had indigestion in my life! At the time I thought it coincidental as it was such a strange mix of symptoms, but perhaps there is something weird going around...

I started to feel better in myself after about 7 days but had sinusitis type symptoms for another week or two. The whole thing was never bad enough to keep me in bed but was a bugger to get over! Hope you feel better soon :)

That is exactly how I feel! I've carried on with work but am losing my voice. The nausea was the worst.

I’ve had something similar, 2 weeks into it tomorrow. Had a day off last week and spent the whole of it in bed asleep.
just bone achingly tired.
Dh had it first and he’s 5 weeks in finally thinks he’s coming over the worst of it.
Ive spent the last 2 sunny weekends in bed and it’s rubbish.
I do think I’m feeling a bit better now with the throat pain having eased, I’m just shattered.
