Possible broken bones

So I am mum of 5 kids with youngest still needing me to carry him as he can’t walk, I have hurt my foot been to doctors but now going for X-ray Friday but thinking of going to a&e tomorrow as the pains making me feel sick, I am not sure if I have broke it or just badly hurt it, know none of you are doctors but I am just little worried about going as I have 5 kids to care for and my partners in the forces and is away a lot of the time, I am hoping nothing to serious, it is little bruised and stuff will add pictures, just looking for similar story and everything has worked out fine or was broke or just any advice really thank you.

That’s tough, especially while caring for your family. If there are any pain is that bad, I would recommend going in to A&E, or urgent care clinic. I always recommend getting an X-ray for pain like this; need to know if there’s a bad break. Two friends in pain because bones should have been reset and healed badly. Is there anyone local to help you out?

I work in trauma theatres. It doesn't look broken but obvs without an x-ray you can't be sure. Ankles tend to be really bruised when broken. More likely a sprain which can be bloody painful.

Thanks so much it for the advice I went to a&e and have to go to minor injuries later tonight to get it seen to, when he she was touch it was very painful I just can’t walk 😭I have my gran she’s a good hand but has her own house and family so can’t be here all the time

I had a bad sprain a few years ago - it was so painful.
It helped to put a box in my bed with a cushion in it - as I couldnt have the bed covers touch my foot.

Lots of ice & painkillers.

Hope you can find some help with the kids for a few days.
