Please go and ask your GP- no one can diagnose you on the internet. The odds are well in your favour of it being absolutely fine but only a doctor can tell you for sure. Don’t leave it to chance though when it is so easy to get it checked, (once you get an appointment).

get it checked by your GP - my DH had skincancer and didn't look anything like this though. however - get it checked

Hard to know, as others have said go to your gp and they will refer you to get it looked at. My partner went before Christmas with 2 moles next to each other, had changed colour and tripled in size. It looked how Google told me a melanoma would look and it turned out to be a growth and they just froze it off.

It will likely be nothing but do get it looked it

Had a skin cancer check this week. The doctor said that if a mole/blemush increases in size rapidly, is raised, changes shape etc, then get it checked. Definitely worth contacting the gp about it.

I got referred to a virtual skin clinic so had to send photos in first before getting an appointment. I guess they can eliminate the non-dodgy moles that way.

I’ve got some atypical mole but they’ve looked the same for donkeys years and are benign. The thing to look out for are changes. If in doubt get it checked.

You have to see a GP. I got referred on 2ww for something that doesn’t look like typical melanoma (it’s not always pigmented), there’s so many different variations.

I saw a derm within three weeks and they took the mole off for biopsy there and then which doesn’t hurt at all.

It’s a simple procedure which could potentially save your life if it is Melanoma.

Good luck!
