Does anyone know the dose for suppressive treatment?

I am going to get a prescription from an online chemist and it's asking how many boxes I need, but I'm not sure what the dose is per day.

Thanks!

Is it for shingles or genital herpes

bnf.nice.org.uk/drugs/aciclovir/

You might find Valacyclovir (Valtrex) easier - it's more expensive but you take it less often (it's one pill a day). Online pharmacies will also prescribe it.

@FrenchConnection1 it's for GH suppression. I can't afford Valtrex unfortunately, it's £220 for two months supply!

The prescribing clinician should determine dose, frequency and number of tablets required. That is LITERALLY what a prescription is

Can’t your gp give it you?
