Long story short, I've had abdominal pain on lower right side for the last 3 years. Currently it feels very low down where I'd imagine my ovary is. I've had both gallbladder and appendix removed and after a GP visit last month I was referred to A&E with suspected ruptured cyst. Ultrasound showed nothing and I was sent on my merry way. I've had cysts in the past and also have had two c sections. Basically my abdomen and pelvis are a mess at this point as I seem to get adhesion pain all the time. I'm going privately for an MRI in a few weeks after begging doc to refer me as I can't cope with this pain.
Basically my question is, has anyone had similar undiagnosed pain and if so, is it worthwhile continuously pestering the GP about doing more tests? Or is there such a thing as general undiagnosed pain that just has to be lived with? I feel like I'm constantly just told to keep an eye on it and come back if it gets worse, but I am so sick of doing just that and then nothing shows on a scan/bloods etc.
