Dental bridge fear

Hi I am going to be getting a dental bridge on my lower 2 front teeth so it will be a 4 unit bridge but I am scared if it falls out that I could swallow it and choke. How likely is this? Does anyone else have this fear?

I don’t have that fear no. I do have 2 upper bridges though. I’ve had one for nearly 20 years now and it’s set solid. I never give it a thought other than regular flossing. The other side bridge I’ve had about 10 years.
Cosmetically they just look like my real teeth did only a lot better.
I can’t take the fear away for you but hope this helps abit. Good luck xx

I had my first bridge in December.. missing two teeth adjacent to my canine, so the canine and the back tooth were the abutment teeth. They file down those two and fit temp crowns there and then ( with anaesthetic injection..all fine) then take impressions for the bridge ..fitted two weeks later. When mine was fitted nmy dentist needed to do a little bit more filing and then cemented it in.
And it IS cemented.. trust me it's not going anywhere!! Mine needed a little filing down as it felt not quite right at first but is now fine. It does still feel slightly bulkier than my own teeth, but it looks fine, works fine, and it certainly won't fall out!

Mine fell out within a month. Dentist glued it back in where it's stayed ever since. You won't swallow it.
