Help unpicking my eye test result?

I’ve been told I have slight astigmatism and need glasses for driving and reading. I don’t really understand what part tells me I need glasses for driving. How bad are these results?
right eye

I’m just feeling sad at needling glasses for the first time at 44 years old

Quite mild. It's the +0.75 that's the reading glasses bit.
I'm very shortsighted-8
And I have reading glasses at +2.50
