Severe stomach cramps!

Anyone able to shed some light as to what I've been experiencing?

Last night about 2.30am I woke up with severe stomach cramps, they were like contractions, really strong and so painful I couldn't sit still, I literally had to breath through them!
Initially I thought ok .. I've got a stomach bug coming so brace yourself but nothing happened, no D & V, don't feel sick. This lasted well into the morning until about 12pm and then the intensity died down but my stomach is now incredibly sore, feels bruised and is still occasionally cramping but they're not as strong and unbearable!

It's now 5pm, I haven't eaten all day, sipped on water and a ginger tea and I'm still feeling lots of pain.

@Violashifts I considered this however the pain is all in the centre of my stomach,
Not off to the right 🤔

Have you had your gallbladder removed? Had scans and nothing showing up. I'm.wary about eating. No chocolate for about 6 weeks😫

I had an excruciating night of this, recently.
I had very violent diarrhoea and intense waves of nausea, although I wasn’t actually sick.
Had the worst headache ever and just felt so ill.
3 weeks later, I am still getting stomach cramps.

Is this still ongoing for you?
Bless you! It's been horrendous.
I will get to GP if it doesn't go or happens again I think!

Oh gosh that sounds awful!
So sorry you're still getting stomach cramps. Sounds like you had a stomach bug. I hope you are feeling better very soon!

My cramps seem to have stopped now.. but my tummy is aching and so sore
