I feel dreadful!

Yesterday I saw the gp as I’ve been having dizzy spells, I felt dreadful when I got home and went to bed.
I woke up in the night but couldn’t but my finger on why I felt unwell.
I am aching from head to toe, exhausted, headache, feel sick and diarrhoea. Also feel really hot.
My little girl is the same and I’m feeling sorry for myself as I’ve had to cancel all my birthday plans.
could this be norovirus?

This is the exact same as how I'm feeling right now. I've had bad chills and shaking. I'm on day 2 of this and feel absolutely horrendous 😢

My 23yo DS had this a couple of weeks ago. Wiped him out completely for a week - he is rarely ill, so was a bit of a shock for him! Put it down to some sort of virus

Absolutely gutted, was really looking forward to my birthday this weekend.
I am so hot and achey. Just want to cry

Yes my 24yr old DS had this last week. He's not had anything that kept him in bed since he was a child! But he was absolutely floored and stayed in bed all weekend and even on Monday, he was v weak. It was like a mini flu.

These all sound like covid. Why does nobody seem to consider that an illness might be covid these days? It's still around

Poor you. I hope you can celebrate your birthday when you recover.

i have something very similar and was beginning to feel like it was just me, so while I’m sorry you’re ill, I’m grateful you posted! I feel absolutely dreadful and have a persistent temperature, it’s like having Covid but without any specific symptoms (I did a test which ruled it out). It started on Monday… still in bed.

Really hope we all recover soon!

I agree, we're not allowed to mention it now because if we ignore it it will go away...or some such bollox.

Have you been to the gp. I was feeling likevthis and a sputum test has confirmed haemophilus influenza type b. I’m now on antibiotics

How are you feeling now @Itsamummybear?? Hopefully you’re better!! I got over mine pretty quickly after about 3/4 days just had lingering tiredness but this morning seem to have gone back to square one with all the same symptoms, only this time I now have a cold as well!
