Always bloody ill, if it's not a pissing stomach bug, it's a cold! Since ds started nursary in October, we've had 3 tummy bugs, endless colds, chest infections, and verious virus. I'm at my whits' end! I had a 2 week chest infection,2 courses of antibiottics and steroids I was just getting over it, had 3 days of feeling better and boom! Back again! Ds is permanently ill.

I have a general multivitamin, extra chewable vitamin c and evening primrose every single day, and i have veg with every meal and fruit daily.
The children are both on multivitamins.

What can I do/ take to help us!

Wash your hands more often, hand sanitiser frequently, disinfect household surfaces, door handles etc more often.

Get things in the house that generally make your life better when you do inevitably get sick again e.g. comfort foods, paracetamol, ibuprofen, antidiarrhoeals, tea, good blankets, TV subscription - it will make the unpleasantness a bit more bearable!

Yes I'm afraid this was us in the first few years.

On top of loads of hand washing try to all get as much fresh air and sunlight as possible walks etc. I was wading through listening to a recent huberman podcast on immune system and much of it was about good old fashioned daylight, fresh air and green spaces

Take vit d and zinc

Do the whole Zoe 30 plants a week plus fermented foods and avoid upf foods

They also said eucalyptus is shown to have measurable benefits (not ingesting!) so the good old Vicks vapour rub which has it in, really does help

Alternating hot baths as cold showers.

All the old school stuff!
