Root Treatment on front tooth

Just back from the dentist and I need root treatment on my front tooth and also have to get roots removed from a tooth that broke and there isn’t any real tooth left but the roots are still there and as I have major dental phobia I am freaking out.

I had root treatment years ago which was agony when the dentist opened the tooth. The dentist today said it’s easier getting a root canal on a front tooth but I am still terrified.

Hi there, I had root canal on my front tooth and the procedure itself was fine - it took ages but wasn’t painful during it.

the roof of my mouth was quite sore after the anaesthesia wore off, for about 24 hours, but it passed quickly enough.

It might help to ask your dentist to refer you to a root canal specialist rather than doing it themselves. I have dental phobia but when I had a root canal done by a specialist it was a much better experience.
