You could keep a food diary or do an elimination diet. I’ve done both in the past but I quickly realised certain meals were making me flare up the next day or if I didn’t eat certain things I would be fine b

It's almost definitely stress for me, but once it's triggered by stress more healthy food makes it worse - so fibre etc. If I'm having an attack, I'm better off eating chips and crisps than hummus and carrot sticks. Which is annoying because I actually prefer healthy food and hate things like burgers!
