Very itchy spots - bother gp?

I've felt a little under the weather for a couple of days, the spots started a day before but didn't take much notice. Today I'm covered all over, irregular, small, raised and very itchy. Particularly on face and eyebrows.

If I had a sore throat I'd guess it could be scarlet fever which I've had before, though if I remember correctly that was more stingy and sandpaper like.

Only other reason to ask is if there's a better anti histamine that can't be bought at boots? What works for viral hives?

Can you upload a photo of the spots?

I'm going with viral hives but it's pretty dramatic

Edited them as trying not to be identified!

Leg, arm, leg.

Same on chest, back face, in my hair

I'd go to a pharmacist and ask for advice.

Actually now wondering if this is a reaction to chlorine from swimming on Monday.

I usually avoid a chlorinated pool as I've felt strange afterwards before and go to one that uses a different treatment.

I felt exhausted afterwards (often do) and the spots started that night I think. Noticed on Tuesday. Which would be why I'm not feeling too unwell

I ended up going as soon as many more spots kept coming and the second pharmacist said I should.

Even more now. 4 different antihistamines have done nothing, now on piriton x4 a day

Some of the spots are weeping and going crusty - can hives do that? to me they're mostly smaller than CP though. The early ones are scabbing a bit

A friend thinks it's chicken pox

I bloody hope not as the scars are going to be horrific
