Lash Tinting Reaction

Hi, I had my lashes tinted last week, it was my first time and the beautician asked me to come on 24hrs beforehand for a patch test, I then had the tinting done the following day. Later that night my eyes became very itchy and were very puffy. When I woke up on the morning my eyes were on fire and I could barely open them. I messaged the beautician who said she'd never had a problem and said to try antihistamines. I phoned my GP as I was really worried and it turns out to be an allergic reaction which has caused a further infection
The beautician offered to pay for the appointment and any medication and has now asked me to sign a general waiver.
I dont know what to do as I've read that by law it should be a 48hr patch test so she didn't follow good practice. I feel angry that this has happened and the pain is awful. Any suggestions as to where I go next, I dont want to sign something that absolves her of any blame.
Thank you.

Definitely antihistamines if gp will prescribe it fenafexadine is really good when I had a severe reaction to hair dye. I did a patch test was fine and reaction came up a week later so I always err on the side of caution.
The lash tint my beautician uses contains touline 2 5 diamine which is also in most hair dyes so please make sure you patch test if you dye your hair. As its most likely that or ppd you've reacted too.

You don't sign the waiver after the appointment!! Say no. What time was the patch test and what time was the lash tint applied?

The patch test was done 11am and then the lash tint was done the next day at 11am
I have now told her that I'm not willing to sign the waiver and she said she now withdraws her goodwill gesture of the appointment and medical cost. Not sure where to go from here!

Not sure on that one tbh. Sounds like she was trying to cover herself after the fact but not sure where you would stand legally.
