Composite Bonding Help

Hi, I have an overlapping front tooth, and couldn’t get on with a retainer. My dentist, to stop any further movement has placed composite bonding behind my top front 7 teeth. There is no wire.
it wasn't what I expected and it feels really bulky and stiff, it’s across all the teeth at the back.
Has anyone else had this done?
or has anyone had bonding removed and gone back to untreated teeth.
I just don’t know what to do but can’t keep it like this.

I have it. It does smooth out a bit with some time and wear but it is still bumpy. I've gotten used to it when I never thought I would and it's obviously a help to me but you can get it removed.

Thanks for your reply, did you have it along the back of your teeth.

Yes all throughout the back of a few front teeth. I can run my tongue along it now and it's still not smooth and flat but you definitely get used to it.

I’ll maybe give it abit longer then to see if I can get used to it. It just feels so wierd atm and I was worried I made a mistake getting it done.
