Tight Foreskin?

What age does a boy's foreskin retract? Read somewhere that it was by 3, but my DS is nearly 5 and it appears that the end is quite tight, but no soreness or redness? Advice please.

my ds 10yrs has that too ,after 2 infections under the foreskin we went to be seen by the willy doctor(sorry not sure what else to call it) and he said that he didnt want to do a circumcision unless it was nessersary,he took a look and said he should pull back the skin when having a wee to stop the urine from getting trapped under the foreskin.
think your son is normal and the advice i was given was to leave it alone,and not to pull it back as it can cause pain and possibly scarring.

Thanks for that, it doesn't seem to bother him at all, so will just key an eye on it, in case any change. Thx
