Denplan - How does it work?

I just wondered if anyone can help me with how Denplan works? I can see it’s just over £20 a month but if I needed a crown or filling for example, do I pay an additional fee, is it 10% or a 10% discount? Very confused 😅…! Any help is much appreciated :-)

If it’s the same as mine I get a 10% discount on the price I pay for all dental work carried out other than anything cosmetic. I also get two check ups per year and four hygienist appointments.

The other one is denplan care I think which I have
Covers 2 hygiene appointments and 2 checkups plus all work except lab fees
In practice if I have an issue I get seen, fillings and extractions are free. I pay for my mouthguard

If I move to another private dentist does Denplan cover X-rays etc?

I found it too expensive. I now put money in to a dental fund to draw from instead.

Once you've had a certain amount of work done the fee climbs rapidly. I'd been on it since turning 18, but pregnancy ruined my teeth.
