Hello!

Sorry such a weird caption 😂

I just came on as you can google for days and get the worse diagnosis!

Earlier my left eye vision went blurry on left eye and very shakey for around half hour!

I now have a headache and my left eye hurts!

Does anyone know why this is and why this happened?

It's never happened before!

Migraine possibly. Was there a jagged arc when it was shaky?

summer90x · 23/02/2025 18:27

@IUnderstandTheWeird Yes it was more in an arch shape on the side of my left eye! Now it is just aching!

Sounds like migraine with aura

summer90x · 23/02/2025 18:30

@IUnderstandTheWeird thank you! Never had it before! Only normal migraines! I overslept this morning and it make me groggy - I think it's probably connected to that! Had a headache all day! Thank you x

I would call 111. It might not be a migraine, it might be something else.
They take eye issues very seriously.
Or call the Community Eye Care service 0300 303 4922.

BaguetteLady · 23/02/2025 18:54

Agree with PP. Call 111. Don't fool around with your eyes.

Greenfingers37 · 23/02/2025 18:56

Sounds very like an aura migraine. Best to get it checked out though.

summer90x · 23/02/2025 18:58

@KnickerlessParsons @BaguetteLady thank you both! Yes I should have called 111 at the time, but do you think if I call now it's too late as it's not doing it anymore? I might just call and ask them and see if- thank you xx

Ocular migraine, scared the bejesus out of me first time I had one. Although I have to say my eye never hurts after having one, I usually just get a headache, so maybe worth getting it checked out just in case.

summer90x · 23/02/2025 19:03

@BoudiccaRising yes it really scared me! As I thought I just sort of got up too quick at first but lasted around 25 mins! Then went back to normal! Yes I have a headache, I've taken some paracetamol! I think maybe it is just that tbh! It just aches a little! I think il see how I go as I don't want to waste 111 time xxx

I have a friend who ignored an eye problem and she lost the sight in that eye because she went to see about it too late. They said they could have treated it if she'd gone either to the GP or optician earlier.
It doesn't sound like what happened to you, but honestly, either 111 or go to the optician tomorrow.

BoudiccaRising · 23/02/2025 20:58

That’s awful @KnickerlessParsons. Maybe book an optician appointment OP, just in case?

summer90x · 23/02/2025 21:00

@KnickerlessParsons @BoudiccaRising oh god yes that does sound awful! It's absolutely fine right now- I might just book drs apt tomorrow and see what they say xx thanks guys

I thought ocular migraine too but do get checked out anyway.

summer90x · 23/02/2025 21:07

@Letmehaveabloodyusernameplease yes I looked up after someone told me this and it most definitely think it's that! So strange never had one like that before! I've been getting migraines lately though, I don't think I drink nowhere enough water! X
