I am long sighted so need glasses for reading. I used to just buy off the shelf but then suddenly none seemed quite right, so I saw an optician. I had a full examination/test and a pair of new glasses. They weren't right either, made my head hurt, my eyes ache and feel hot and tired. Optician insisted they were true to the prescription, so I went somewhere else and had another test and check up. All fine, and prescription same as other! Another new pair of glasses later and I have the same problem. I just can't use them, its too uncomfortable in terms of sore eyes, blurriness, headache. I can barely read these days because I can only cope with the discomfort for 10 mins max. So where do I go next since something really isn't right yet opticians say my eyes look healthy and that the prescriptions are right, and they cant explain my issue. Any advice would be amazing!!

Hi OP,
Could this be dry eye? So an issue with tear ducts? If it's just when you wear glasses Im wondering if its when u are concentrating with less blinking as you are focusing. Could you dry dry eye drops regulaly to see if that helps?
