Just posting here to see if anyone has any knowledge of this situation. (An appointment with ENT has come through but not for few weeks) an ulcer on skin near to neck that very much looks like a Squamous cell carcinoma but around the same time as this showing up experiencing a hoarse voice ongoing for several weeks, and general pains in chest area. I know scc can cause throat cancer but would they ever typically present as a skin lesion as well? Any experience or medical knowledge would be really helpful, thanks.

Just bumping for you and hopefully someone who knows can come along soon.
Am also just checking out a new skin situation and hoping it's nothing to worry about.

Have you had the SCC confirmed and dealt with?
DH’s SCC spread into lymph nodes and his trachealis muscle, so head and neck cancer.
No chest pains, and his voice wasn’t affected until radiotherapy.

No, both issues have been referred onwards but only the throat issue is being seen urgently. Just feel it's
too coincidental that both issues have appeared around the same time. The SCC is very typical in appearance. Thank you for replying, and sending best wishes to you and your DH.
