vaccination is this unusual

My DD got her BCG vaccine earlier today she is in her teens. It is a couple of hours later and this is how the vaccination site looks just worried if it looks abnormal for this vaccine.

Completely normal don't worry

Normal. They do all sorts and leave a scar.

It should scab up and leave a permanent BCG scar

Was over worried probably as she ended up only getting it after she was held firmly in hug as before hand she kept moving about. It's good to hear that it is normal she has had some paracetamol as she was complaining about the pain.

You have reminded me of happy memories of us all comparing our BCG lumps and eventually scars at school.

I thought mine was very disappointing as some people had giant eggs on their arm from it.

They don't give it on the regular anymore. I didn't get it. My DD is probably the only one in her class who has got it as in a non high risk area. She got it for another reason.
