Allergic rhinitis/ ear infection…?

Being feeling unwell for a month now. Sinusy, ear ache on and off, low grade head pressiee, really exhausted. No congestion, sore throat or cough though. Practice nurse identified impacted ear wax, waiting for an extraction appointment but using olive oil in meantime to soften. I am really not feeling any improvements over this last month and have not been able to exercise at all. Walking about, the ear pressure and sinus pressure increases and I feel pretty dreadful. Got a steroid nasal spray from pharmacist but no improvement. I’ve not felt consistently terrible like this before we’ve no real improvements. Any remedy suggestions or what is going on? I’ve done some research and thought possibilities could be ear infection or even allergies / allergic rhinitis? Could impacted ear wax be causing all this ?

Have you had antibiotics?

No, I’ve not been told I need them. I booked in at drs and saw a nurse, she just said I had impacted wax. This was 2 weeks ago, feel
my symptoms are a bit beyond just impacted wax…?

I think you're right. Have you tried any allergy meds?

No, not sure where to start as I am breastfeeding… i popped into the pharmacy today and was told there was nothing suitable because of this… need to investigate myself and probably ask dr too
