Any dentists about please ?🦷
Just had a large molar removed. When is the advisable time to have a bone draft (as advised) inserted, is two months after extraction too late ?

Thanks!

Not a dentist but had this done recently as part of the implant process.

I was told to leave at least two months for healing but not to leave it more than six to eight months before the graft as they don't want too much healing either.

If you are contemplating an implant get a few quotes as my dentist quoted almost £2,000 than the other three quotes I got all from cosmetic specialists. I went elsewhere and was impressed by the dentist.

You will need a CT scan to check healing before you can go ahead with the graft but all dentists told me that the scan needed to be delayed for a few weeks.
