Rib/chest pain. I think I have Costochondritis. Should I see the gp

I've had similar about 5 years ago. My whole ribcage is inflamed and it hurts when I breathe. It is much worse at night. I'm taking Co-dydramol for the pain. Do you think I should see the gp? The pain is 10 out of 10 😪

I would go to a&e. I had exactly what you describe, saw the gp and she called an ambulance to the surgery! Get yourself down there asap.

I had that too and got sorted in A and E. Go there immediately.

Sorry, I couldn't face a and e. I am going to ring the gp first thing. I've taken Naproxen and Co-dydramol. It's so much worse at night 🥲
