Anti dandruff shampoo for a tween?

Dd, 12, has dandruff and bless her has been scratching her scalp. She was using a Timotei shampoo which I thought was OK but it's not.
Can anyone recommend something mild which works?

nizoral medicated shampoo in between head shoulders?

Isn't Head Shoulders too harsh for children?
Where do I get the medicates shampoo from and is it OK for children?

Head and Shoulders for Itchy scalp ,it's fantastic stuff. The Body Shop Ginger shampoo is good too.

Vosene green bottle, saw it recommended here on MN and works a treat on 10 yo DD's hair. Preteen hormones causing dandruff here.

We use this by toni and guy - also moved shower to morning, which has help equaliser hair.

Nizoral shampoo should be in boots , it’s for Age 12 and over.

Head and shoulders is fine, it's not harsh. I've used the Garnier fructis anti-dandruff stuff on my 3yo as he still gets crusty cradle cap, it helps clear it.

That said, Vosene was what my hairdresser recommended at that age and I did find it worked. She said you have to use the Vosene shampoo and the matching conditioner, if you use that shampoo and then an apple scented conditioner or something then it won't work. I always remember this because when I do buy head and shoulders, I get the apple scented one, which they didn't make back then.

Is that a particular Vosene shampoo?

Head and shoulders DermaX anti dandruff is what I use on my sons hair. He had dandruff and a very red scalp. His scalp is totally clear now. I buy it from amazon as it's much cheaper than in the shops
