Pneumonia jab

So ive just had a ' medication review '
Phonecall
From drs

Im in my 30s
And been offered a pneumonia jab

I was surprised - i hadnt heard of this
& asked the caller why..

She said because of my liver condition.

I said to her what she probably cant see on my drs records
But what's on my hospital records is that i have a track record of reacting to meds - be that contrast at a ct scan or mri etc

Just wondering if many of you have had pneumonia jab ?

Will potentially discuss it with my liver consultant and my ivf team as ivf soon too

I’ve had the pneumonia vaccine

I've had that vaccine as I have lung issues and I was fine, no reactions to it. It is a one off jab unlike the flu vaccinations. I didn't realise until after that you can actually buy it privately from Boots etc but it is expensive.
